INTERNSHIPS

Young people are the future of public service. Senator Cramer offers internships for college students and recent college graduates. Through a Congressional Internship, you will put your skills to work for the people of North Dakota while gaining experiences which can be applied to your education and future careers. In Washington DC, you will have opportunities to work closely with the legislative and communications teams on a variety of projects in addition to the possibility of attending committee hearings and other events. The North Dakota offices provide opportunities to assist with constituent relations and other projects relevant to the district while attending events with staff on Senator Cramer’s behalf in the state.

Internships are offered on a full-time and part-time basis to accommodate students' work and school schedules. Applications are accepted year round for spring, summer, and fall semesters.

Preference is given to North Dakota residents or students enrolled in a North Dakota school who have successfully completed a minimum of one year in college.

Academic credit may be available, but students are responsible for coordinating all requirements through their college.

Interns are responsible for securing their own housing and transportation.
