Sen. Cramer, Colleagues Call on State Department To Process 1.6 Million Backlog of American’s Passport Applications

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Senator Kevin Cramer joined a letter led by Senator James Lankford to Secretary Mike Pompeo to seek answers to why Americans’ passport applications have not been completed since March 19, 2020.  The lack of processing has resulted in a backlog of 1.6 million applications. The State Department has continued to receive applicants payments for passport fees even though the department is not reviewing applications.

Sen. Cramer Notice: Army Awards Nearly $9.5 Million to Grand Forks Co. for Minot Air Force Base Repairs

WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the Department of the Army awarded $9,479,200 to Strata Corporation, a Grand Forks company, to make construction improvements at the Minot Air Force Base.
