BISMARCK, N.D. – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND), Chairman of the Senate Armed Services (SASC) Airland Subcommittee, will participate in an upcoming town hall meeting hosted by the U.S. Air Force in Minot on Aug. 26. During the meeting, Air Force leadership will provide landowners and community members with information about the supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) being performed and offer an overview of the Sentinel Program and its projected impact on the communities in the vicinity of Minot Air Force Base.
In the summer of 2025, the Air Force began preparing a supplemental EIS to address design refinements and facility siting updates which occurred since completion of the March 2023 EIS.
Ahead of the event, Cramer thanked Air Force leadership for hosting the public information briefing and its commitment to obtaining public comments regarding the project

The event will take place at 5:30 p.m. CT at Minot State University, Ann Nicole Nelson Hall, 500 University Avenue West.
