BISMARCK, N.D. – The National Science Foundation (NSF) awarded $1,937,612 to North Dakota State University (NDSU). The funding will be distributed as follows:

  • $1,360,963 to study the ability of plants to tolerate and adapt to extreme heat.
  • $576,649 to develop a miniature imaging system to monitor brain activity and cerebrospinal fluid movement within the skull.
