WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Sens. Kevin Cramer (R-ND), John Kennedy (R-LA), Jon Tester (D-MT), Bill Cassidy, M.D. (R-LA), Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV), Sherrod Brown (D-OH), James Lankford (R-OK), Steve Daines (R-MT), Joe Manchin (D-WV), Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS) and Roger Wicker (R-MS) introduced the bipartisan Phair Relief Act on Wednesday to lower drug costs for seniors and improve financial certainty for community pharmacies.

“Pharmacy DIR fees are unpredictable for pharmacies and subsequently push patients to the coverage gap prematurely, causing them financial hardship,” said Senator Cramer. “This bipartisan legislation provides more certainty and transparency in the prescription drug pipeline.”
