Sen. Cramer: Commerce Awards CARES Act Funds to North Dakota Tribes

BISMARCK – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration awarded the following grants totaling $450,000 to three North Dakota tribes:

• $150,000 to the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians,

• $150,000 to the Spirit Lake Tribe, and

• $150,000 to the Mandan, Hidatsa and Arikara Nation

These funds are authorized through the CARES Act and will go toward pandemic response efforts.
