WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator and Senate Armed Services Committee (SASC) member Kevin Cramer (R-ND) issued the following statement on the U.S. Senate confirming Ryan McCarthy’s nomination to be U.S. Secretary of the Army:
“I am glad to see the Senate move forward with confirming our military leaders. I look forward to working with Secretary McCarthy on issues relating to the North Dakota National Guard, implementing reforms at the Army Corps of Engineers, and other shared priorities.”
Senator Cramer met with McCarthy earlier this month to discuss his nomination and his work as Acting Secretary of the Army.
