WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) delivered remarks to the National Mining Association (NMA) Fall Board of Directors this morning, where he spoke on grid reliability.

“While an all-the-above approach to energy is great, we must anchor our energy supply to other factors as well, including reliability,” said Senator Cramer, a former state utility regulator.

Senator Cramer previously expressed his concern to Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) Chairman Neil Chatterjee about the reliability and resilience of our nation’s electricity system.

The Senator also spoke about his work on 45Q and PUPRA reform before participating in a Q&A with NMA’s board members.
