BISMARCK – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the Federal Communications Commission’s (FCC) Wireline Competition Bureau awarded $124,053 to CHI St. Alexius Health in Dickinson through the COVID-19 Telehealth Program. These funds come as part of a $10.7 million investment into 25 institutions across America to provide telehealth services during the coronavirus pandemic.

CHI St. Alexius Health will use the awarded funds for telemedicine carts, tablets, and remote monitoring devices. This technology will allow health care teams to remotely care for patients, connect CHI St. Alexius Health to larger referral hospitals to coordinate care and provide rapid evaluations, and minimize health care provider exposure to COVID-19.
