WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) Office on Violence Against Women awarded the following grants to combat violent crimes against women:

  • $900,000 to Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, and
  • $767,680 to Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians.

DOJ’s Office of Justice Programs also announced $750,000 to the Mountain Plains Youth Service to enhance services for identified victims of human trafficking.
