WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) through the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) awarded five grants totaling $5,320,000 to Walhalla Airport Authority, Harvey Municipal Airport Authority, Standing Rock Tribe, the City of Williston, and the City of Minot.
- $166,666 to Walhalla Airport Authority for a project entitled, “Seal Apron Pavement Surface/Pavement Joints, Seal Taxiway Pavement Surface/Pavem”,
- $333,634 to Harvey Municipal Airport Authority to acquire snow removal equipment,
- $224,966 to Standing Rock Tribe for an aeronautical survey and environmental assessment at the Standing Rock Airport,
- $1,049,008 to the City of Williston to install airfield guidance signs at the Williston Basin International Airport, and
- $3,695,726 to the City of Minot to construct taxiway, expand apron, and reconstruct apron at the Minot International Airport.
