BISMARCK – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) Research and Development Program awarded $1.5 million to the University of North Dakota’s (UND) Energy and Environmental Research Center (EERC).
The funds will be used to support the engineering design of a hybrid capture system to benefit Red Trail Energy’s ethanol plant in Richardton.
