BISMARCK, N.D. – The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced the award of $4,250,000 to North Dakota for the following programs and initiatives:

  • $4,000,000 to the North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services through the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment to strengthen the state’s opioid response. 
  • $250,000 to Mountain Plains Youth Services, Inc., to support its transitional living program for young adults between the ages of 18 to 21.
