BISMARCK – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services awarded $5,475,773 to the following North Dakota agencies, tribes, and organizations:
- $4,000,773 to North Dakota State Department of Human Services to address the opioid crisis through enhancement of prevention, treatment and recovery services;
- $700,000 to Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians and $400,000 to Spirit Lake Tribe for the Tribal Opioid Response Program;
- $125,000 for youth substance abuse prevention in Grand Forks;
- $125,000 for LevelUp Fargo to help decrease youth alcohol and drug use; and
- $125,000 for Wahpeton’s substance abuse prevention “Project YES” group.
