MUNICH – U.S. Senator Jim Inhofe (R-OK), chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, led a delegation to the Munich Security Conference on February 15, 2020. The delegation, which included Senators Kevin Cramer (R-ND), Mike Rounds (R-SD) and John Boozman (R-LA), and Representatives Mike Kelly (R-PA-16) and Tim Walberg (R-MI-07), conducted bilateral meetings with key leaders, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Afghan President Ashraf Ghani. Other meetings included the Norwegian Minister of Defense Frank Bakke Jensen, Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar of India and Greek Minister of Defense Nikos Panagiotopoulos.

“Our time with foreign leaders and officials in Munich was productive and informative,” said Senator Cramer. “The feedback from every meeting confirmed the United States’ standing in the world is as strong as ever.”
