BISMARCK – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND), Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Transportation and Infrastructure, announced the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) awarded $3,500,000 to North Dakota recipients. The resources are from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) and will be administered through the Brownfield Cleanup Grant Program as follows:
“Remediating sites contaminated by hazardous substances and returning them to productive use is a win-win for our communities,” said Senator Cramer. “These bipartisan infrastructure law grants will help create new opportunities at currently unusable locations.”
