BISMARCK – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the National Science Foundation (NSF) awarded $650,000 to North Dakota State University (NDSU). These funds are approved through the NSF Division of Chemistry Directorate for Mathematical and Physical Sciences.
This investment will be used to finance NDSU’s project entitled "Investigation of Laser-driven Chemical Reactions by Molecular Dynamics.” The goal of this research project is to study and simulate the control of photochemical reactions through the tuning of specialized laser light.
