BISMARCK – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) awarded the North Dakota Department of Health a grant of $248,515 for maternal and child health services.

The Maternal and Child Health Services Bureau supports service systems working to address maternal and child health needs. Specifically, their support goes to- but is not limited to- efforts to significantly reduce infant mortality; provide comprehensive care for women before, during, and after pregnancy and childbirth; provide preventative and primary care services for infants, children, and adolescents.
