WASHINGTON — U.S. Senator and Environment and Public Works (EPW) committee member Kevin Cramer (R-ND) issued the following statement on the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) final action to allow the year-round sale of E15 and to reform the renewable identification number (RIN) compliance system under the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS):

“President Trump promised to allow year-round sales of E15 and continue improving the RIN process, and today Administrator Wheeler delivered. This is excellent news for producers and consumers in North Dakota and across the country. I advocated for these actions to expand consumer choice and enhance market information because I oppose unnecessary regulations and support increased transparency. I applaud the administration for finalizing this rule before the summer driving season, and I thank them for continuing their deregulatory agenda while being responsive to the needs of the agricultural community.”
