WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) issued the following statement after the Senate voted today to confirm Dan Brouillette as U.S. Secretary of Energy:

“Congratulations to Dan on his confirmation. I thank him for his willingness to serve, President Trump for choosing such an excellent candidate, and my colleagues in the Senate for moving expeditiously to confirm him. As a well-qualified public servant, I know Dan is ready to take on the many issues facing the Department of Energy. I have enjoyed working with him in his role as Deputy Secretary, and I am eager to continue working together to advance our shared priorities.”
