Sen. Cramer Statement Following Tata Withdrawing His Nomination

BISMARCK – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND), a Senate Armed Services Committee member, issued the following statement today after Anthony Tata withdrew his nomination to be Under Secretary of Defense for Policy:

“I appreciated Mr. Tata’s support for adding the names of those who perished aboard the USS Frank E. Evans to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and I look forward to visiting with other Defense Department nominees to ensure they agree. President Trump should take advantage of this opportunity to memorialize heroes who died for our country.”
