BISMARCK – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Office of Rural Development (RD) awarded of total of $2,670,000 to the City of Dodge and the Crystal Rural Fire District.

·         $1,770,000 to the City of Dodge to finance improve a street project in conjunction with a water and sewer project that services the city.

·         $900,000 to the Crystal Rural Fire District to expand existing infrastructure, including building an addition to its fire hall to house the response functions of the fire district.

 

These Rural Development funds were awarded through USDA’s Community Facilities Direct Loan and Grant Program and come as part of a $153 million investment to build and improve critical community facilities to benefit residents in rural areas across the country.
