WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) awarded the following grants to airports in North Dakota:

 

  • $2,811,324 to Watford City Municipal Airport to reconstruct over 6,500 feet of runway.
  • $366,693 to Edgeley Municipal Airport to acquire a replacement carrier vehicle with blower, plow, and sweeper equipment.
  • $166,666 to Robert Odegaard Field Airport to rehabilitate runway, taxiway, and apron pavement and perform pavement sealing and restoration.

These funds are appropriated in part through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, a bill crafted in the Senate which Senator Cramer helped pass.
