They discussed the prioritization of American agriculture in potential trade deals

WASHINGTON — U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) met with U.S. Trade Representative’s (USTR) Chief Agricultural Negotiator Gregg Doud to discuss trade relations with China, the United Kingdom, and the status of USMCA.

“I appreciate Ambassador Doud taking the time to give a briefing on trade efforts with China, the UK, North America, and several other countries,” said Senator Cramer. “North Dakota’s farmers and ranchers feed and fuel the world. They deserve trade deals that ensure their product is treated fairly on the world stage. I urged Ambassador Doud and the entire administration to continue putting American agricultural interests first as these trade talks progress.”
