WASHINGTON — U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced his guest for the State of the Union today will be Senior Vice President of Immigration Voice Debjyoti Dwivedy (Pronounced DEB-JOH-tee DWEE-way-DEE) or (“DD”).

“As Congress debates the many aspects of our broken immigration system, Debjyoti offers expertise and experiences that reflect North Dakota priorities and values,” said Senator Cramer. “Immigration Voice has been a steady support in my effort to lift the arbitrary per-country caps on high-skilled immigrants. North Dakota is blessed to be home to many immigrant software developers, physicians and surgeons, engineers and other professionals. The long wait- in many cases, many decades- for these valued neighbors and servants to get green cards is a disservice, not only to them and their families, but also to the potential of the American economy. It is my hope we can finally pass a version of the Fairness for High Skilled Immigrants Workers Act this Congress.”
