WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the North Dakota Department of Health (NDDOH) received $52,621,819 from the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

These funds are awarded through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) National Center for Zoonotic, Vector-Borne, and Enteric Diseases. They are authorized by the Epidemiology and Laboratory Capacity for Prevention and Control of Emerging Infectious Diseases (ELC) Cooperative Agreement, which provides resources to local health departments to detect, respond to, control, and prevent infectious diseases.
