WASHINGTON — U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) issued the following statement regarding Xcel Energy’s announcement that it will distribute nearly $10 million to North Dakota electricity customers:

“The tax cuts are working in North Dakota. As Xcel Energy-North Dakota Chris Clark said, ‘The savings from the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act will provide nearly $10 million to North Dakota customers and keep rates flat for two years.’ This means more stability for individual North Dakotans and more money injected into the local economy. These are the pro-growth policies that have delivered for this country over the last two years and the kind of policies we should push for years to come.”
