WASHINGTON — U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has approved a $2,111,325 grant for the North Dakota Department of Health. The discretionary funds are provided under HHS’ Centers for Disease Control and Prevention National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases.
The North Dakota Department of Health, along with the Vaccines for Children program, supplies free immunization and vaccines to eligible children 0 to 18 years of age. They also maintain and update the North Dakota Immunization Information System.
