BISMARCK – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office) awarded $94,125 to the Cass County Sheriff’s Department to finance the Cass County Officer Safety and Wellness Project.

These funds come as part of a $2.2 million investment across America through the COPS Community Policing Development (CPD) Microgrants Program. The funds provided through this program are used to develop the capacity of local, state, and tribal law enforcement agencies to implement community policing strategies.
