WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) awarded the following grants totaling $135,847 through the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program to prevent and control crime:

  • $59,274 to the County of Cass;
  • $27,614 to the City of Bismarck;
  • $20,274 to Grand Forks County;
  • $16,386 to the City of Minot; and
  • $12,299 to Turtle Mountain Band Of Chippewa Indians.

DOJ also announced a $24,488 award to the North Dakota Attorney General and a $31,602 award to the Bank of North Dakota through the John R. Justice Grant to support local, state, and federal prosecutors and public defenders.
