WASHINGTON — U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) joined a letter today to Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Christopher Wray and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) Acting Director Regina Lombardo encouraging them to protect public safety while respecting the Second Amendment and federal law related to the three business day waiting period for firearm purchases and seeking information on how the federal firearms background check system is responding during the coronavirus pandemic.
