WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) awarded $399,920 to the Turtle Mountain Band Of Chippewa Indians.

The funds will be used to support continued implementation of safety training for law enforcement and other criminal justice agency personnel responsible for sex offender registration, notification, monitoring and investigating failure-to-register cases and/or management. Additionally, a training plan will be developed and used at community meetings and for partner collaboration.
