Sen. Cramer: Nearly $2.7 Million Head Start Grant Awarded to Grand Forks Public Schools

BISMARCK – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Administration for Children and Families’ Office of Head Start awarded a $2,667,685 Head Start grant to Grant Forks Public School District 1.

Head Start and Early Head Start programs promote school readiness for young children and toddlers from low-income families by enhancing their cognitive, social, and emotional development as well as early learning, health, and family well-being.
