Senator Kevin Cramer (R-N.D.) introduced the USS Frank E. Evans Act to the Energy Subcommittee with jurisdiction over the issue. Chairman Steve Daines (R-M.T.) also made remarks, and Senator Cramer was introduced by fellow North Dakota Senator John Hoeven.
