WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) awarded $160,000 to Minot State University to finance the North Dakota Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) Information System.  

This investment was approved by the HHS Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Center for Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities. The funds will be used to support the program entitled “Improving Timely Documentation, Reporting, and Analysis of Diagnostic and Intervention Data through Optimization of EHDI Surveillance.”
