WASHINGTON – U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced today the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) office of Rural Development (RD) awarded two loans totaling $39,737,000 for two Electric Cooperatives serving communities in North Dakota.
Nodak Electric Cooperative, headquartered in Grand Forks, received a $29,737,000 loan. This will be used to connect 1,431 consumers, build and improve 247 miles of line, and incorporate $1.2 million in smart grid technologies.
